Ingredients:
Seeyali recipe: To soak: Thoor dhal - 1 cup, Chanadhal - 1 cup, Moong dhal - 1 cup, Tamarind - 2 lemon size For powder: Roast and grind the following coarsely : Chana dhal, Urud dhal, Thania 1:1:2 teaspoon each. Red chillies - 10 For seasoning: Mustard - 1/2 teaspoon, Chana dhal - 1 teaspoon, Urud dhal - 1 teaspoon, Cashew 10 Pieces, cut to pieces,Ghee - 1 teaspoon, Jaggery - gooseberry size, Onions - 3, Curry leaves - 6, Corriander leaves to garnish.
Procedure:
Recipe: 1.Soak dhals for 3 hours and grind coarsely like dosa dough consistency and add salt. 2.Steam them like idlies. Then cut to small pieces. 2.Now take a Kadai, pour oil,ghee, season mustard, dhals, cashew, onions, curry leaves. 3.Pour tamarind juice, when it boils put the ground mixture, salt, turmeric powder, jaggery. 4. After it boils, and raw smell goes, mix cut idlies. Simmer for 5 min. Garnish with Corriander leaves and serve after 15 minutes. Serves 6 persons.
