Ingredients:
Rice flour -2cups Tur dal-1/2 cup Mustard seeds,jeera,chana dal,red chilly/varukai -4,green chilly -4,pepper corns, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coconut, salt,curry leaves, coriander leaves.
Procedure:
Pressure Cook the thoor dal with turmeric powder and one spoon oil with 4/5 whistle. In a thick bottom vessel add 4 cup of water ,oil,salt and when the water boils add the rice flour in cone shape and leave it in low flame for 20min and switch off the stove and mix without lumps(like we do for jiladikai).After 5min use hands and mix the dough softly. Make small balls ( small gooseberry size) and press slightly in the middle. Now take a kadai and add the smashed dal with two cup of water and add all the balls. And don't stire the content and let it cook for 10 to 15 min.Mealwhile in another kadai temper with mustard seeds,chana dhal,jeera, pepper, red chilly/varukai-4, green chilly-4,curry leaves and add this to the cooked content. At last add some coconut and coriander leaves.serve hot. Thank you.
